I had never stopped to see the 'newish' statue of Emily Carr and her pets, Woo and Billy before.
Larger than life, literally, at 3-metres, it does seem to capture her eccentricity! And her pets Woo and Billy are trying to capture her attention, as they would have been doing in real life, no doubt!

| A Trial Islands Sandwich on Barge and Tanker Bread |
Coming back, something you don't see too often - a barge (actually TWO of them!) and a huge tanker off in the distance, with Trial Islands between them! Okay, so a little large and spilling over into the boundaries, but so what! You can actually read the writing on the barge and on the tanker!
And the morning sunlight in the backyard this morning was spectacular!
