The TOP of my Bucket List is...

Mt. Everest!

Actually, not to summit, which would be cool, but to reach Base Camp. I know my limits! Can you imagine seeing the sunset like below? Anyone who is ever interested in Everest, can go to National Geographic for this year. All the latest and greatest.

And did George Mallory and Sandy Irvine summit before Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay? We may never know. And does it really matter? Each climbed their own Everest in their own unique manner and style. That is enough for me.

UVIC Totem Pole

Cool Totem Pole at UVIC! Blue Sky and gazing off into the distance! Clouds are great, but for contrast against wood and the texture of the carving, a deep blue sky really enhances the carving. At least I think so!
