4 Bin Gardening on a SuperMoon Weekend

And what is 4 Bin Gardening? Much less a SuperMoon Weekend?
Well, 4 Bin Gardening requires 1 thing:
4 Bins. Usually.
1 Car. Usually.
1 Saturday. Usually.
1 total disregard for lists that include numbered requirements.

4 Bin Gardening with a Wed Wabbit

Okay, so now, just the Weekend, and it HAS to be Saturday around these parts, as it is the only time I can get to the dump! And even THEN, it has to be by NOON! And even THEN, if the bins are already full from the night before, then I have to be there before 8 AM!

But otherwise, just 2-3 hours is needed to circumnavigate the back and front yard and tidy up!

The 2012 yard is looking like this about now, but with a bit more growth.

A couple of roses have somehow magically appeared! How the heck did THAT happen?

The tall one will be Oranges 'n' Lemons below
Oranges 'n' Lemons

Described as 'Sweet 'n' sour it ain't---but your eyes might pucker a little when they behold this fantastic color. Stripes of pure yellow splashed onto bright orange will stop even the most finicky rose buyer in the their tracks. Mahogany red new foliage shows up all year long, maturing to a very deep green. This vigorous bush has a fountainous habit that can be trained as a climber in milder climates.' and should grow into this:

Rock & Roll
The other is 'Rock & Roll'. 'Big creamy buds set the ‘beat’ for what’s to become a rockin’ show of colors.  Each petal unfurls to reveal a different pattern of striped & splashed burgundy, red & white.  It’s not just a video for your eyes though.  This is a live performance that involves your nose ‘cause the fragrance is killer.  Deep green leaves set the stage & clothe the bushy full plant.  Great for cutting, for smelling or just for enjoying.  Rock on!' And should grow into this:

And then, surprise, surprise, an Emily Carr Rose snuck in the back door!

  2. Venus Flytrap! I was at the parking lot, up the hill, around the corner! A good view of Trial Islands. TONS of cars there, and I was lucky to find a spot to wait. CHILLY WINDY NIGHT! Had to wait until the スーパームーン crested the cloud bank.
