Quantum Slow Cook Irish Beef Stew on Freshly Baked Bread with Guinness as Secret Ingredient

Quantum Slow Cook Irish Beef Stew
on Freshly Baked Bread
with Guinness as Secret Ingredient

Raring to go on another chemistry experiment, even better than the last one (Coconut Ginger Dahl!)!

Comes in kit form from Mitchell's Soup Company and has recipe and everything! Click here to see full recipe!

So I just add all my ingredients below: sliced beef, seasonings of choice, mushrooms, carrots, onions, potatoes, garlic.

Ingredients: Sliced beef, seasonings, mushrooms, diced carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic ..... and the Irish Beef Stew Kit!
Brown the beef
Put the entire kit ..... and caboodle in the slow cooker
Add the Browned Beef
Oh yes... baking bread at the same time!!!Timed out perfectly

Right from the bread maker! Best loaf yet!
Perfectly done! Next time - would add more herbs!

And then, about 30 minutes or so before serving, pour in the secret ingredient: 1/2 cup of Guinness!!!

And then serve WITH some Guinness too! All on a freshly sliced piece of bread! (And no.... I am not Irish!)

Dinner is served with lots of leftovers too!

Quantum Slow Cook Pot Roast and the Uncertainty Bread Principle

Quantum Slow Cook Pot Roast
and the
Uncertainty Bread Principle

MORE QUANTUM POT ROAST! And another try at bread making, but with fresh yeast and special flour for bread making! The right tools in the ..... right hands! LOL!

Standard ingredients: pot roast, onions, garlic, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, beef broth, red wine, all sorts of spices to suit your taste buds, etc. Easily found on The Google.

Quantum ingredients, but CERN not needed. But I am fairly sure they like pot roast too! Red wine for sure!

Just like when getting ready for winter, layering is important!
And prepped this all the night before, kept in the fridge and then just had to pop it into the tray and turn it on! First 1/3 of the time on LOW, then the last 2/3 on HIGH. Works like a charm!

And at the same time, started a 'New Adventures in Bread Making' as last time, it was a complete and utter disaster. This time, fresh yeast, fresh bread flour and a clean conscience!

And was also trying to time it all, so below are the time lapse videos of ingredients, start, mid-way through and .. THE REVEAL!!!!!!

AND THE BREAD TURNED OUT FABULOUS TOO!

Perfect timing too for dinner with some special home made smoked cheese from a new colleague!

DELICIOUS ON FRESHLY MADE BREAD!!!!

Add some fabulous red wine, freshly made and cut bread, smoked cheese, crunchy kale salad with fresh tomatoes, lemon poppy seed dressing, grated smoked cheese on top and it is a Top 10 Meal! EASY TOO! Oh, and of course, some World Class Crown Royal Rye Whiskey afterwards!!

 AND LEFTOVERS!
I HAVE LEFTOVERS FOR THIS WEEK!!!!

残り物には福がある。 (Nokorimono ni wa fuku ga aru) Literally: Luck exists in the leftovers.
Meaning: There is luck in the last helping.
