Quantum Rose Alley

Quantum Roses

Rose Alley March 9th 2012
Today was a 4-Bin yard day. The last few weeks have been only 1 or 2, but the growth in the yard has been nothing short of amazing the past few weeks. And in looking at photos from the spring, when everything was fresh, new and basically, non-existent, it is truly amazing! The north side of my home I call Rose Alley, and just look at the difference between the photos, and just under 3 months, between March 8th and June 3 of this year. That much growth in under 90 days! Phenomenal!

I think they are David Austin roses. Not sure. They could be Austin Power roses as far as I know! Oh, behave!

And throwing in a few more photos of roses taken over the past few days. The rose by the lock, some roses that have grown so tall, they cascade over the fence, into an old creamer from a farm near Castor, Alberta.

Also some just plain cool looking plants that I have NO idea what they are! And the one tree has leaves on it that look like it is almost Fall! They are dark, dark red and almost black on the bottom! Quite the contrast with the greens, reds, whites and blues everywhere else! I think that if you know TOO much about gardening, you might just over-think everything! Basically, if it is green, it is probably a plant. If it is colourful, it is probably a flower! If it smells, it might be a Triffid. If it is aromatic, it is probably a rose. If you like it, keep it! If you don't like it, rip it out!

ANY QUESTIONS?

So here are a few more interesting photos from the past few days. I have no idea what kind of flowers they are.

Craig: What are you doing here anyway?
The Doctor: Yes, he likes that, Alfie. Though personally he prefers to be called Stormaggedon, Dark Lord of All.
Craig: Sorry, what?
The Doctor: That's what he calls himself.
Craig: How d'you know that?
The Doctor: I speak baby.
Craig: Of course you do.
